Hello Chanele, can you please tell our website viewers where you’re originally from and where you currently reside?
Hey Bachelors! [Smiles]
I am originally from Queens, NY but I currently reside in Orlando, FL.
How did you get started with modeling and how long have you been doing it for?
Modeling was always a hobby for me. I was always interested in fashion and acting as a child so modeling was the next option. I actually enjoyed taking pictures more than being in them but as I got older I wanted to one day be in a magazine. I started when I was about 18/19 in college as a print and runway model.
Do you have any other talents besides modeling, if so what are they?
I played the saxophone (alto and bari) for 9 years, starting in middle school and ending in college. It lead me to tour all over the United States and perform for huge events such as the Super Bowl.
Switching the subject a little bit since this is The Bachelor Project. What type of guys are you interested in?
My choice in guys vary as far as appearance. I’m definitely attracted to guys with a nice smile and a more athletic build. What really matters to me is their personality. If you can make me laugh we’ll get along just fine. One of my biggest pet peeves are dirty sneakers (which sounds really weird) but if you’re a guy I pay attention to your shoe collection [Laughs].
What makes you a good candidate for a Bachelor?
I’m well-rounded; a model but a tomboy at times. You can find me in the kitchen cooking or in front of the tv yelling during football season. I am college-educated, ambitious, and I have the biggest heart. If you’re there for me, I will always be there supporting you 100%.
What is the most romantic thing that you ever did for a man and what was the occasion?
I’m into super thoughtful gifts. My college boyfriend and I didn’t get to see each other much over our breaks so one summer I made a book (binded and everything) [laughs] of my entire summer. In the book I included pictures of my house, family, the places I went, etc. Whenever he missed me all he had to do was look through the book. I mean this was before we both had an iphone so now I can just Facetime. [Laughs]
If you can go on a perfect date, what would it consist of?
I’m always on the go so the perfect date for me is kind of boring. I would love a great dinner at the house, ice cream for dessert (I’m always asking for ice cream!) and then just hanging out for the rest of the afternoon. If we can just cuddle and watch TV then I’m happy.
Where else can our readers check out you and your work out?
My instagram, snapchat, and twitter accounts are all: ChaneleLaVie
It’s been a pleasure speaking with you Chanele. Is there anything that you would like to say to our readers?
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my interview! I hope you all learned a little but about me. [Smiles]
