The Bachelor Project is proud to introduce our new Bach Lady of the Week: Dawn Perily. Be sure to read Dawn’s feature below to see how she got her start with modeling, the type of guy she’s interested in and what she brings to the table in a relationship. Enjoy.

Hello, can you please tell our website viewers where you’re originally from and where you currently reside?

I am from Cleveland, Ohio. I now currently reside in the D{M}V area.

How did you get started with modeling and how long have you been doing it for?

I used to do modeling when I was much younger. My mother got me started with competitions, fashion shows and print modeling. I did that all the way up until I was 19 years old. I just jumped back on the scene after taking a hiatus for a few years to pursue school. I linked up with a really good photographer by the name of JayFkImages late last year and he got me on my way.

What are the pros and cons of being a model?

The pros of being a model is that you get to do a bit of traveling, which I like and it can open up other avenues for models if they decided to pursue other areas in the entertainment industry. On the flip side though, there are so many models and aspiring models that companies and certain people within the industry try and take advantage of some models. Some people are even making empty promises to getting models into magazines. It’s best to do your research on people you encounter in this industry to ensure who you are networking with is legit.

Do you have any other talents besides modeling, if so what are they?

I write. I have been writing short stories and poetry as far as I can remember. It’s one of my favorite pastimes. I always thought about starting to take it a different route and write songs, although they would have to be songs written for someone else, one of my talents does not involve singing. [Laughs]

Switching the subject a little bit since this is The Bachelor Project. What type of guys are you interested in?

I’m interested in men who are respectful gentlemen, ambitious, good hygiene, spiritual and are intelligent enough to stimulate my own intellect. He definitely has to know how to be spontaneous and have fun because I definitely do.

What makes you a candidate for a Bachelor?

Well, I’m super single! I am a good woman, who loves to cook, loves football and I highly enjoy catering to my man. I will never interrupt a man watching the game, unless it’s half time, most likely I’ll be watching it with him.  I am an avid Victoria’s Secret fan and I love to prance around the house in my Vicky’s whenever I can. What guy wouldn’t want that!?

What is the most romantic thing that you ever did for a man and what was the occasion?

The most romantic thing I’ve ever done for a man was not for any particular occasion, it was ‘just because.’  My boyfriend at the time had a long day at work. As soon as he came in, I removed his shoes and jacket and sat him down for a nice massage while dinner was finishing up. That particular night I cooked lobster tails, steak, baked potatoes and I had prepared a Caesar salad because I knew it was his favorite. We ate dinner to soft music and afterwards I ran him a hot bath. I helped him take off his clothes very slowly and he got in the bath I ran for him. I left the room. I returned to the bathroom naked and I emerged myself into the bath tub with him. Your imagination can take you to the next part of the night.

If you can go on a perfect date, what would it consist of?

I’m pretty easy to please. As long as a man can keep up with a good conversation and is respectful and funny, I’m satisfied. We can go anywhere from the park, to a nice restaurant, to the movies, as long as we are both enjoying ourselves and each other’s company.

If you can go on a vacation anywhere, where would it be, and why would you choose to go there?

I would want to go to South Africa. Not only for the culture but just to experience the life there.

What sets you apart from other models?

What I feel sets me apart from other models is my ability to be spontaneous. I don’t mind shooting anywhere at any time.  I find it fun to be able to go to different locations and shoot. It sparks creativity for new poses and different angles for shooting. I will shoot in all elements, wind, hail, sleet, snow, rain you name it! As long as the photographer is willing, it’s a green light.

Where else can our readers check out you and your work out?

You can find me in GEI, FBM, VIXENS, Stacks Models Inc. and UH magazine all this years issue. I also have a few features on GGURLS. Stay tuned for the Dawn Perily website where I’ll be showcasing all my works from my career thus far.

It’s been a pleasure; Is there anything that you would like to say to our readers?

I want your readers to keep an eye out for me. For those that already know of me and support me, thank you and I love you!
