The Bachelor Project is proud to announce our Bach Lady of the Week: Ashia Danielle. Be sure to check out her feature below to see how she got her start with modeling, what makes her a good candidate for a Bachelor, and the type of man she’s attracted to. Enjoy.

Hello Ashia, can you please tell our website viewers where you’re originally from and where you are located.

I was born in Cheverly, MD at PG Hospital. I grew up in Largo, MD and currently live in Fort Washington (5 minutes outside of DC).

How did you get started with modeling and how long have you been doing it for?

2 years ago I started attending open mics throughout DC. I received a lot of feedback and inquiries about if I am a model and would I be interested in doing videos. From that, I began modeling with a local group but due to differences, I left. 9 months later, I have made the decision to start modeling again by myself, on my own terms.

What are the pros and cons of being a model?

The pros of modeling are definitely the networking and various opportunities that you get offered. Modeling can serve as an amazing grounds to meet new people. The cons of modeling are the criticism (if you have soft skin), hateful/catty females and the often disrespect from men that you encounter.

Do you have any other talents besides modeling, if so what are they?

I am fluent in American Sign Language. This started off as a random class in HS but it has gotten me so many wonderful opportunities.

Switching the subject a little bit since this is The Bachelor Project. What type of guys are you interested in?

I love a confident man. One who can command a room with just his presence. He has to be able to match my drive, determination and put up with my occasional attitude. Aggression is very attractive.

What makes you a candidate for a Bachelor?

I’m everything a man wants! I love sports, I love to cook, clean, and be that great woman for my man. I am extremely independent, I can pay my own bills and take care of myself. I just want a man who can simply keep a smile on my face.

What is the most romantic thing that you ever did for a man and what was the occasion?

I don’t know if I’ve ever necessarily done anything that can be considered “romantic” for a man. I do slight things like spoil him with random gifts and make sure that when he comes home all he has to do is relax.

If you can go on a perfect date, what would it consist of?

I’m simple. A perfect date for me would be a chill movie and maybe dinner. Or we can go to the bar and watch the game. As long as we are spending time together, I’m happy.

If you can go on a vacation anywhere, where would it be, and why would you choose to go there?

Right now I’m stuck on the Poconos [Laughs]. They have this  7 ft tall champagne glass Jacuzzi that I am just determined to get to.

What sets you apart from other models?

Honestly, I’m myself. Everybody answers this question with the same qualities that the next girl has. I try to maintain my humbleness and stay true to me at the end of the day.
