The Bachelor Project is proud to announce our new Bach Lady of the Week: Karen Vi. If she looks familiar, you may have seen her in Ice JJ FISH viral video “On The Floor.”
Hola Karen , what city do you reside in?
San Antonio, Texas.
How did you get into modeling? How long have you been modeling for?
I started with pageants about 3 years ago. Then I ventured into fashion runway, but only did a couple of local shows because I’m not a toothpick and my butt was too heavy on the runway (just kidding, but really…) so instead I stuck to swimsuit, lingerie, and video modeling. I think I found my niche.
What are your measurements?
Pizza! I could eat it everyday of my life. The oozing cheese turns me on. There’s also nothing like getting my hands dirty in a bowl of hot wings. And Mexican food, lots of it. That what keeps Texas girls curvy.
Most memorable modeling job to date?
The Ice JJ Fish “On the Floor” video by far. Nothing is more memorable than falsely seducing Ice JJ Fish and having him serenading me with his love song for the purpose of millions of You Tube views.
Pros and cons of being a model?
Cons: Deciding what I’m worth or what my value is. For a model, it’s easy to want to devalue ourselves for certain jobs or because we don’t want to miss an opportunity, but at one point we have to take a step back and learn to take only the jobs that can see our worth, even if they are far and few in between.
Pros: Creating my own schedule. I can take or refuse the jobs I want, when I want, with who I want.
What is your ideal man?
I’m attracted to manly men with a hearts of gold, someone that can pick me up (literally), and that loves music as much as I do. He also has to be a good tipper, no exceptions!
For the bachelors reading this what makes you a catch?
That I am not perfect, but I’m real, and I think that what makes a woman sexy. Too many times we try so hard to put on this flamboyant show of our ideal selves instead of just accepting and being who we are, but when we do, that’s when I think we’re the most beautiful
If you can tell a guy what to say to you before they come up to you what would it be?
“I’m buying you a beer. Choose one.”
Did you career change since the IceJJFish video went viral? Where did he find you and what made you say yes, inquiring minds want to know [Laughs].
I met Ice JJ Fish through That Raw, the production company that shot the video. I had worked with them before and they thought I would be the perfect fit for this new project they were working on. I had a slight idea who Ice JJ was, but had no idea that shooting this video would gain so much attention from all over the world. I agreed to get booked for the job only because I saw the hilarity in what That Raw wanted to do with this video, and the potential. It’s been extremely overwhelming with the amount of recognition they and I have received, and has definitely given me exposure on a national and international level. I have been contacted from people who saw the video all the way from France and Brazil too!
Do you have any talents that would surprise people?
I can sing and do cartoon voices! And I’m really good at flip cup. An old party trick I learned in high school.
What’s in your IPod? Favorite artists and why.
I’ve been spending a lot of time with my dad, so we’ve been jamming to classics, like Zeppelin, Bee Gees, Rush, The Beatles.
If you can go on vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Mexico. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world. I can speak el espanol and you can’t beat the food. The people are extremely humble as well.
What magazines have you been featured in?
San Antonio Trends and hoping for others in the future.
Best feature on your body and why?
My long dark hair and my butt and thighs because I never liked that part of my body growing up. My mother warned me that when I was older I would learn to love and appreciate my curves and she was right.
What else do you do besides modeling?
Student during the week, promotional model at night, and bottle service waitress on weekends. In my free time I like to volunteer with no kill animal organizations, go to music festivals and concerts, and expand my beer palate.
Any new ventures we can look forward to from you?
A lot of new photo shoots, and hopefully I will submit to Maxim’s Hometown Hotties contest this summer. Fingers crossed!
