The Bachelor Project is proud to announce our new Bach Lady of the Week: Melissa Ceja. Be sure to check out her feature below to see how she got her start with modeling, the type of man she’s interested in, and what makes her a good candidate for a Bachelor. Enjoy.

Hello Melissa, can you please tell our website viewers where you’re originally from and where you currently reside?

Of Course! Hello lovers! I’m originally from Rancho Cucamonga, a beautiful up and coming town located in sunny California. I just recently moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, and I’m completely in love with it here ! [Smiles]

How did you get started with modeling and how long have you been doing it for?

I started modeling about 10 months ago. I decided I wanted to pursue my dream in modeling, but I didn’t really know how to go about it, so I landed a job as a Hooters girl. There I did a bikini contest and was discovered by the west coast Hooters photographer, Aaron Riveroll. We did one shoot and that’s when I completely feel in love with modeling and the rest is history! From that moment on I’ve been a self managed model.

What are the pros and cons of being a model?

The only con I can think of about being a model is you have to really do your homework when it come to the people you work with and you have to know that people will promise you the world, but not everyone has good intentions. You definitely have to stay strong to your morals, you have to know exactly what you want and you can’t let people take advantage of you. There’s a lot of pros that come along with modeling. The one thing that really attracted me to this business is you could have complete control over your career. Models get to wear amazing cloths, shoes, brands, travel all over, but you can also turn things down and chase after bigger and better things.

Do you have any other talents besides modeling, if so what are they?

Well… not only can I model, but I can act as well! I’m actually in the process of getting involved in film. Besides that, I can pour a glass of any type of champagne, from any type of bottle and do it the correct way. [Wink] [Laughs] Those are all my talents. [Laughs]

Switching the subject a little bit since this is The Bachelor Project. What type of guys are you interested in?

I’m attracted to ambitious men. There’s nothing more attractive than a man who has goals. I’m a goal oriented person, so of course I would be interested in someone who has that trait as well. Ambitious men are the type of men who always catch my eye.

What makes you a candidate for a Bachelor?

Right now I’m on that independent strive and I plan on being this way for a very long time, but I am a really good girl. I do love to wear tiny clothes and drink a lot of champagne, [Laughs] but what kind of girl doesn’t?

What is the most romantic thing that you ever did for a man and what was the occasion?

The most romantic thing I have ever done for a man would probably be dress up for him and I’m not too sure if there even was an occasion. I’m not that mushy with the romance. You won’t ever find me getting too sappy when it comes to dating.

If you can go on a perfect date, what would it consist of?

I’m not very normal, I honestly don’t really like dating, but I guess if I were to go on a date the only thing that I would hope that it would consist of is delicious food.

If you can go on a vacation anywhere, where would it be, and why would you choose to go there?

I’ve always wanted to go to Greece. I just imagine it to be so beautiful and peaceful. Those gorgeous white buildings and clear blue; blue water. I would be in heaven there.

What sets you apart from other models?

The thing that sets me apart from other models is I am self managed and self motivated. Everything I have accomplished I have done on my own and I still plan on doing so much more. I know what I want, I know to stay true to myself and I won’t settle for anything but the best.
