Breathing life into used timepieces, Rolex enthusiast and restorer Alejandro Alcocer presents new/old styles under the “Black” label.

Sticking to classics, currently on offer at SSENSE, GMT Master I, GMT Master II, Oyster Perpetual Explorer, Explorer II and the most valuable, a Sea Dweller.  Produced between 1958 and 1990, his handiwork gets the full inspection by experts based in Geneva, and then the magic happens with his own unique PVD formula applied to create a beautiful matte black finish, a Diamond Like Coating (DLC) layered on top for strength. Additionally, for those who like a little shine, the GMT Master Icomes with subtle gold edging. Prices hitting around the $23,000 mark, a wearable labour of love.
