Photographer (and obvious Star Wars fan) Benoit Lapray teamed up with his buddy (and fellow artist) Matthieu Latry to create this Life-Size LEGO Star Wars “Toys Invasion” series.

What started out as nothing more than personal project ended up capturing the attention of LEGO France, who then became an official collaborator of the project. The crew took Star Wars LEGO minifigures, and set them up in real life situations, swarming the district of La Confluence in Lyon, France. The amount of detail that went into the project is impressive. Most single photos in the collection took an entire day to create, while scenes captured in front of the busy La Confluence shopping center took 3 days for Lapray and Latry to conjure up.
