Last July, Nike introduced a new form of sneaker construction dubbed “FLYEASE” which is supposed to act as an entry-level sneaker specifically designed to help a wide range of athletes of all abilities strap their kicks on. The latest design to utilize this easy-zip technology is the LeBron Zoom Soldier 8 silhouette which was made specifically for kids.

The zip begins at the mid-foot and opens up the heel of the shoe, making it easy to slip a foot in and out. Once secure, the shoes lock the foot into place, making them performance-ready without the need to lace them up. It has been said that Nike will expand on this innovative technology by introducing a running shoe and basketball silhouette in March this year for both kids and adults. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available. The Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 8 FLYEASE is available now.
