An NYC penthouse been sold for a staggering $100.5 million, making it the most expensive apartment in the city and the first to ever surpass the $100 million mark.
Located on the 89th and 90th floors of the 1,004-foot-tall One57 building, the 11,000 square-foot apartment features six bedrooms, a library, and a private cinema. It even has its own lobby and elevator, you know, just so the owners don’t have to mingle with any of us peasants.
The buyers, who remain anonymous, will also have access to the amenities of the Park Hyatt hotel, which takes up the first 39 floors of the building, although if they’d prefer to keep things private they can just go to their own amenities floor, complete with a pool and gym. It’s a hard life…
