The Wheelsandmore McLaren MP4-12C looks absolutely deadly, “Toxique Evil” as it’s been coined to be precise. The appearance modifications are rather clean, if you don’t mind the offset Trim-Line-Design stripe that runs the length of the car. Which often doesn’t sit well when applied to vehicles with the type of class that McLaren exudes, but Wheelsandmore was able to pull the look off without diminishing the MP4-12C’s sharp, high class appeal. Complementing the stripe are color matched light-weight forged wheels which run 9.0×20“ and 12.0×21“.
But, what you really care about is the additional performance on-tap. Wheelsandmore has increased the factory output of 600 hp to an impressive 666 hp and 640 Nm of torque. The improved numbers come by way of a handcrafted exhaust system with remote-able exhaust valves and optimized control electronics. If that’s not enough, they also have a turbo and intercooler kit that’s currently undergoing testing and is expected to push the output to 800 hp. Essentially putting it right in line with the Hennessey Performance HPE800 McLaren MP4-12C.
They didn’t stop there, unlike Hennessey, Wheelsandmore decided to take steps to improve the handling of a car that’s already being touted as one of the best handlers on the market. Wheelsandmore lowered the PCC complex electronic hydraulic suspension system, that controls body roll and the roll-permanently, to another 25mm and improves handling and steering of the MP4-12C.
